The staff and service were the best part of staying at the Marqueen -- everyone was so helpful! The location is great if you are going to a show at the Seattle Center, made easier with valet parking. There's an excellent neighborhood coffee shop attached -- I literally rolled out of bed and walked down the hall for a Caffe Ladro latte. It's in a historic building surrounded by fun restaurants and bars.

I had an impromptu trip to Seattle for business and needed to find a place close to the center and the MarQueen did not disappoint, Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing accommodations, best stay in Seattle ever... Be aware there is no elevator so if stairs are not your thing try to get a room on the first floor, mind you it's a grand staircase so it's worth the climb or decent :-)

Fantastic location, close to Space Needle, Chihuly Garden, monorail direct to downtown then Pike markets. Lovely building which retaining 1920's character. Currently 1 wing being updated to current standards while senstively retaining character. The work does not interfer with stay. Staff friendly and courteous. Would stay again

People are very friendly; bathrooms near -check-in for an old guy like me; nice walk to Space Needle/Climate Pledge Arena, etc, NO ELevator so if you're handicapped might want to ask for help; I didn't because he was busy but next time I will as I had to make 2 trips up the stairs and to my room....nice little kitchen, nice room temperature settings, over bed fan, and great location near Dick's Burgers, a few taverns/bars/eating establishments/CVS across the street, etc.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The pictures on the web site are not indicative of the deplorable condition of the room. The bathroom tub was rusty and stained and there was no enclosure or curtain so it was not able to be used. The furnace was noisy. We were told at the time of check-in that the water would be turned off the following day for 5-6 hours. This was obviously due to renovations going on in the building but I should have been notified ahead of my stay. I would have stayed elsewhere. We also didn't know there wasn't an elevator and our room was on the 3rd floor with many steps.
